Registering with the surgery

To register with the surgery:

When you register, it’s helpful to have your NHS number. You can use the NHS website to find your NHS number.

Out of area registrations

We will accept out of boundary patient registrations. This is a voluntary arrangement, if the practice feels it has no capacity at the time or feels it is not clinically appropriate or practical to provide services for the patient, it can refuse registration or request the patient to register with a practice whose boundary does cover their home address. Registration or continuing registration is entirely at the discretion of the practice and partners decision is final.

Because of the greater distance to your home, the practice will not provide home visits, the patient will be required to contact NHS 111.

In the future it may become clinically appropriate to be registered with a practice where these restrictions do not apply, and so the practice will ask the patient to register with a practice closer to home where care may be better provided at that time.
